Art consulting & curatorial studio · est. València
TROBA is an art consulting and curatorial studio for premium architecture and interior design. The studio designs the visual narrative each space calls for, and sees the whole programme through from concept to the last nail.
01 — Manifesto
Trobar [v.] val. — to find, to come upon; to arrive at the solution to a spatial problem.
02 — Artists
Talent, not inventory.
A selection of the artists the studio works with. Drag to browse. Click a work to meet it.
Emerging and established: no hierarchies
The studio's roster balances established names and young talent. An emerging artist’s first major commission can hang beside a signature piece, neither casting a shadow over the other. What decides is the vision, never the name.
A double commitment
The studio looks after the artist's work and protects the architect's vision: it acts as a bridge, answering to both sides with the same standards.
What the industry overlooks
Visual narrative usually arrives last, when everything else has been decided. Here it is the starting point: that is where a place begins to speak.
Your project deserves its own language.

03 — Services
One studio. End-to-end art direction.
A single point of contact. Art direction and logistics, centralised end to end. You design the space; TROBA takes care of the art. The programme scales from private residences to boutique hotels (10 to 200 works), stepping in 12 to 18 months before opening.
And before you buy anything, you see your space with the programme in place: what kind of piece goes in each zone, at what scale and in what language. The works in the concept are references; the final choice comes later, artist by artist.
04 — Works
Case studies.
How the studio reads a building and builds its visual narrative, from the intimacy of a private residence to a hospitality project.
05 — Studio
One vision, the rigour of a craft.
I work hand in hand with interior designers and owners. A single point of contact who takes the whole process off your desk, so the finished space says exactly what was designed.
A light structure by conviction: no warehouse, no fixed costs. A forty-room boutique gets the same attention as a large project, and everything goes where it matters: the work and the artist.
Founder & Art Director
Nacho Yagüe
My background is in Fine Arts, but for 25 years I directed the visual narrative of major international productions in entertainment: complex environments that had to be aesthetic, credible and, above all, readable. I learned how the eye navigates, interprets and inhabits a space.
The move into physical curation was organic: a fascination with architecture, interior design and noble materials. I went from designing spaces to living them: textures, bespoke furniture, collecting. And I understood that a space only breathes when its architecture dialogues with the work inside it.
TROBA was born from that intersection. I am the architect’s ally in finding the piece that place was asking for. I curate without hierarchies — established names alongside singular finds — to build collections with an identity of their own and a narrative that is authentic and lasting.
The studio lives in a farmhouse in València's Horta, a place where I sit down with artists, clients and friends to talk projects, unhurried.
